The activities of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Ikorodu, a movement for grassroots education and mobilisation for the re – election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, received a boost during the week when a former Chairmanship aspirant for Ikorodu West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Sesan Dada donated an office space for the group.
The office space, located along the Agric/Owutu Road, served as the campaign office for Hon. Dada who was a former Vice Chairman of the council, would serve as the liaison office for RHA in Ikorodu West LCDA.
The grassroots politician made the donation when Comrade Japhet Odesanya and his team paid him a visit.
While welcoming the RHA team, Hon. Dada assured them that the return of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for a second term is a done deal, and added that Ikorodu West is ready to be fully part of the mobilisation to make the re-election a reality.
”First and foremost, I want to appreciate you and the team for this wonderful opportunity, and I want to make it categorically clear too that to who much is given, much is expected. Asiwaju, like you said, is a father of all, mentor and benefactor and a leader. So, 2027 is a done deal.
”And, in efforts to make this a reality, Ikorodu West LCDA will not be left behind, and I want to categorically assure you that all hands will be on deck and no stone will be left unturned towards ensuring a massive unprecedented votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, because we have the enablement and grassroots support – the market men and women, the CDAs, CDCs, the youths. These are beyond our party members as you have said.
”We have started the work already because it is my project. I don’t need to wait for any directive. Myself and my team and the people of Ikorodu West have already commenced work. We don’t need to wait to be galvanized because it is an ongoing project”, Hon. Dada said.
Donating the office space, the former Chairmanship aspirant said:
”What belongs to me, belongs to my God-father, leader and mentor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and also to our mentor, the Chief of Staff, Tayo Ayinde and His Excellency, Governor Sanwo- Olu. Thos office is available for Asiwaju’s project at anytime.
”I want to assure you that we are fully ready and prepared towards ensuring that we have a successful outing come 2027″, he added.
Hon. Dada charged the generality of the people of Ikorodu Divisionto support the Asiwaju Tinubu agenda to make Ikorodu continue to be in the lead in terms of electoral votes and relevance.
He emphasised that President Tinubu is on assignment to revamp Nigeria from the point of collapse into economic prosperity and social stability.
”I just want to enjoin the citizens and residents of Ikorodu, that we are trailblazer and I don’t expect anything lesser from what we have been doing, especially going by the e-registration of our party. We topped the list across the 20 local governments in the state and by extension the 57 local governments and local council development areas.
”In addition, Ikorodu also has the largest votes for Asiwaju in the last elections. We must sustain and improve on this.
”I want to urge our people to look at the project and the economic policies of our dear President. The good work he has started, if given another term, Nigeria will be better because no pain, no gain. Nigeria was already on the verge of sinking and here comes Asiwaju who came to restore hope for Nigerians, and we should understand that we will get to the promise land with Asiwaju.
”So, I want to implore all residents of Ikorodu to, please, come out massively to give their full support to Mr President come 2027″, Hon. Dada urged.
Speaking earlier, Comrade Japhet Odesanya, the Coordinator, RHA in Ikorodu Division, said that the visit was in continuation of bringing stakeholders on board to collectively drive the re- election of President Bola Tinubu in lkorodu Division.
”We have come to you not only to sell Asiwaju to you, but to ask for solidarity because there is strength in coming together and you are a force in driving a grassroots idea like this.
”So, much would be expected from you and we want us to collaborate and do it together to ensure total victory for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
”The idea is all about grassroots education and mobilisation for Tinubu, to reach out outside the party and to people who are not members of our party and bring them into the fold. That’s the mandate thar we have been given.
“We already know our members in the party will vote Asiwaju, but we need more to justify the reconstruction of this massive road and completion of so many others projects in Ikorodu LGA, and we want to believe that with you, we have won; Asiwaju has won.
“That’s why we have come here to show respect and to show solidarity and to tell you what we want to do, and ask for your support”, Comrade Odesanya said.
